LensCoat® Nikon 50mm f/1.8D

I was a bit skeptical at first, but the texture of this cover really does help break up the lens shape for a more discreet look. It fits perfectly and the protection from scrapes feels solid.

The fit around the focus ring is snug enough that it never slips, and the rubberized texture actually gives me a better grip when shooting handheld. It also breaks up the shape of the lens nicely, which keeps it from looking like a target in crowded street scenes.

Didn't think I needed a cover for a cheap little 50mm until I knocked it against a doorframe. The fit is snug and it still lets me grab the focus ring without slipping, so it stays on. Resale value was the real reason I bought it, honestly.
