LensCoat® Nikon 300 f/4 AFS

The material has just enough texture to give a good grip even with wet hands, and it’s already saved my lens from a couple of minor scrapes on rocky trails. The camouflage pattern does a great job of blending in with the brush around local ponds.

I was a bit skeptical how much it would help, but the way this cover breaks up the lens outline did make my setup less noticeable on a recent birding trip. The material feels tough enough to ward off scrapes from my camera bag without adding noticeable bulk.

The cover fits snugly over my 300 f/4 and the textured surface really does break up the outline when I’m shooting from a blind. It’s already taken a few knocks against branches without leaving a mark.
