It’s saved me twice already when I bumped the lens against a rock and a car door—no scratches at all. The fit is snug over the barrel and the cutouts line up perfectly with the controls, so it doesn’t interfere with shooting. Definitely worth it if you want to keep that resale value up.

The adhesive is strong enough that the cover hasn't budged in a month of use, even after packing the lens in a tight camera bag. It's a snug fit around the unique shape of the 600mm f11, and the camouflage pattern does a decent job of blending in during hikes.
