I was worried about getting dust in the ball head when hiking, but the neoprene is thick enough to keep it clean. The pull-string openings let me slip it over the head while it’s still attached to the tripod, which is super convenient.

The pull strings on both ends make it easy to secure around the ball head without taking anything apart. The neoprene feels thick enough to protect it during transport.

Finally a pouch that fits around a ball head without having to remove it from the tripod. The neoprene is thick enough to protect against bumps and the double pull strings keep it snug.
