The fit is snug but not suffocating, so it stays put even when I’m twisting the zoom ring mid-shoot. I’ve already scraped it against a rock wall and the cover took the hit without a mark.

I’ve been hauling this lens around on hikes for a month now, and the cover has taken a few solid knocks against rocks and branches without a single scuff showing through. The fit is snug enough that it doesn’t shift when I’m shooting, but it’s still easy to peel off for cleaning.

The fit is absolutely perfect for the 70-300mm lens—no sagging or loose spots at all. I’ve already bumped it against a rock on a hike and it soaked up the hit without a scratch on the glass. Really glad I added this layer of protection.
