LensCoat® Sigma 800

It’s been on my Sigma 800 for two weeks now and the scrapes from lugging it around in the truck bed have completely stopped. The way it breaks up the silhouette is a nice bonus when I’m out in the field, and it hasn’t shifted once since I fitted it.

The neoprene is thick enough that I’m not nervous about bumping the lens against a tripod leg anymore. It fit my Sigma 800 snugly right out of the package, and the cutouts for the controls are perfectly aligned.

The camo pattern really does break up the silhouette—birds haven’t spooked as fast since I put this on. It’s also held up through a dusty week of shooting without a single snag or scratch on the lens body beneath.
