LensCoat® Sigma 50-500

Finally got this on my Sigma 50-500, and the fit is snug enough that nothing shifts when I'm hiking through brush. The camouflage pattern actually works—I've had birds land closer than usual without spooking. Feels like it adds a decent layer against accidental scrapes.

Took this out for a weekend of birding and the camo pattern really does its job—I got closer to a heron than ever before. The neoprene hugs the barrel snugly without slipping, and the cutouts for the switches are spot on.

The soft neoprene material fits my 50-500 perfectly and doesn’t slide around when I’m hiking. It’s already saved the lens from a few nasty scrapes on rocks, so I feel better about bringing it into the field.
