LensCoat® Sigma 300-800

I got this cover primarily to protect my lens from minor bumps on hikes, and it fits the Sigma 300-800 perfectly without slipping. The material feels thick enough to absorb small impacts, and the added bonus is it actually makes the big white lens less conspicuous in the field.

The camo pattern really does break up the lens silhouette well in the field, and it’s plenty snug without being a fight to get on. I’ve already knocked it against a few branches and the fabric’s taken the hits without a mark on the glass underneath.

The cutouts line up perfectly with the zoom ring and focus window, so I didn't have to fight with the cover while shooting. My lens has already bounced off a few branches in the field and come out scratch-free, which makes the price feel worth it.
