LensCoat® Pentax FA*200mm F2.8

I was worried the cover would add too much bulk, but it’s surprisingly low-profile while still giving great protection against scratches. The fit around the lens barrel is precise, and the neoprene feels durable without being stiff.

I was worried the adhesive might not stick well, but it’s held firmly even after a few rainy shoots. The cutouts for the lens controls are precise, making it easy to adjust settings without removing the cover.

Birds kept knocking it into branches on hikes and the coating absorbed the scrapes like a champ, so the barrel underneath still looks mint. The fit is snug and the texture gives a nice grip when I'm shooting handheld in the cold.
