LensCoat® Nikon 70-300 f/4.5-5.6 VR

I cut my hand on a sharp edge while installing the cover, but once it was on, the fit around the zoom ring and focus ring was perfectly snug. The textured surface gives me a better grip when shooting in damp conditions, too.

The fit is snug but not tight, so the zoom ring still turns smoothly while the cover stays put. I've had it on for a few weeks and it’s already saved the barrel from a couple of scrapes against a metal fence.

The camo pattern does a better job breaking up the lens silhouette than I expected, and the fit around the zoom ring is snug enough that it doesn't slide when I'm out shooting. Took a few minutes to line up the cutouts for the switches, but once it's on, it feels solid and adds a nice layer of grip.
