LensCoat® Nikon 500 AFS I

The camouflage pattern does a great job breaking up the lens silhouette in the field, and the fit around the Nikon 500 f/4 is snug without being a struggle to get on. My lens has survived a few careless knocks against rocks and car doors with zero visible marks, so resale value feels protected.

After a season of rough field use, the cover has kept every scrape off the lens barrel and the velcro closures still hold tight. It breaks up the outline just enough that birds don't spook as easily, which was my main worry.

The fabric fits snugly around my 500 f/4 without bunching at the lens hood, and the velcro closures make installation quick. I’ve already bumped the lens against a tripod leg and there isn’t a scratch underneath. It gives me peace of mind knowing the resale value won’t tank from a simple scrape.
