LensCoat® Nikon 400VR

Having the textured surface really helps with grip on those long, chilly mornings with the 400. I've already bumped it against a metal tripod leg once and didn't find a single scratch underneath.

The fit on my 400 f/2.8 is snug and precise, and the material already saved me from a nasty scrape against a rock wall during a shoot. It’s lighter than I expected too, so I don’t notice it when I’m carrying the rig all day.

The neoprene material provides just enough padding to keep my lens safe from accidental knocks without adding noticeable bulk. It fit my 400mm snugly right out of the box, and I love how it breaks up the shape while I'm out shooting wildlife.
