LensCoat® Nikon 300 f/2.8 VR / VRII

Was a bit worried about fit, but the cutouts for the focus and VR switches lined up perfectly on my VR II. Feels like it’ll save the lens from a lot of dings out in the field.

The neoprene cover slips on without any wrestling match, and it’s already saved my lens from a couple of clumsy bumps against a car door. The way it breaks up the white outline makes the rig look way less conspicuous in the field, which is a nice bonus.

The neoprene lining fits snugly around the lens barrel without slipping, and the cutouts for the VR and AF switches line up perfectly. I’ve already bumped it against a metal railing with no scuffs at all.
