LensCoat® Nikon 300 f/2.8 AF I

I was worried about protecting my expensive lens, but this cover fits like a glove and the material really does help break up the silhouette for wildlife shots. Snapped right into place with no fuss.

The fit is snug enough that it doesn’t shift when I’m carrying the lens over my shoulder, and the scrape protection has already saved the barrel once on a rocky trail. I’ve had it on for two weeks of birding trips, and the resale value worry is pretty much gone.

It’s like the lens finally has armor—the snug fit means no more worrying about scrapes when I toss it in the bag. The way it breaks up the silhouette is honestly better than I expected for wildlife shots.
