LensCoat® Katana Gimbal Head cover

The cutouts line up perfectly with the gimbal’s controls, so nothing feels bulky or in the way. Took a few scrapes on a rocky trail last weekend and the cover absorbed the impact without a mark on the metal underneath.

Installed this on my gimbal head before a trip to the marsh, and the neoprene-like cover already saved me from a nasty scratch on a rock. It really does help the camera setup blend in better against the foliage.

The fit is surprisingly precise and snug on my gimbal head, and the neoprene material feels like it will actually absorb a knock. It also does a decent job of dulling the shiny black surfaces for a more natural look.
