LensCoat for the Kowa Prominar 553

The neoprene material is thick enough to absorb minor bumps during hikes, and the cutouts align perfectly with the focus ring and zoom eyepiece. I’ve had mine for two weeks and it’s already saved the scope from a couple of scrapes against branches.

Fits the Kowa 553 perfectly and the neoprene material feels durable enough to handle a few knocks in the field. The cutouts for the focus knob and zoom ring lined up exactly, so I didn’t have to wrestle with it.

The adhesive backing went on cleanly over the eyepiece and body, and it’s already saved my scope from a couple of scrapes on rocky trails. The fit is snug enough that I don’t worry about it peeling off mid-hike.
